Hi I have just read the repentant article on Chicago gnosis and It states we should contemplate the virtues we try to cultivate, like to cultivate chastity, the beauty of the soul and etc. By contemplate do you mean I think about it? I know it sounds simple but I’ve tried doing it and heart is empty.
In daily retrospection meditation we meditate each day based on the defects we noticed on that same day, what if I haven’t yet comprehended a defect I found out yesterday? But a very important one?
And also the Rune Rita do we open our left arms and legs or right?
It is necessary to retrospect daily so that you can see the connections between “yesterday’s” egos and “today’s.” The roots of desire are deep but have connections to the surface.

Comprehension occurs in levels. Eliminate what you’ve comprehended, but go deeper each time.

Without retrospection, one cannot see how everything relates. Retrospection meditation is how one establishes depth on their meditations.

Thinking is not meditation. This is how you meditate on virtues.

If you don’t comprehend your ego, then you cannot extract the virtues trapped there.

You perform the Rune Rita by extending your left leg and placing your left hand on your left hip.

So would I then not do retrospection meditation "today" but meditate on the same ego I noticed but did not comprehend in "yesterday's" meditation
