Dear Instructors,

V.M. Samael Aun Weor sometimes uses the phrase "evident self-reflection of the Being".

Fifth Gospel, lecture 'Intelligent Assimilation of Impressions':

It is necessary to appeal to the evident self-reflection of the Being and it is also necessary to appeal to self-observation, to observe that “I” of anger in action. When one self-observes during an attack of anger, he understands that something, something different from himself, has entered his brain, has taken possession of it. If one has verified that reality by means of self-observation, he can take another step, which is that of the evident self-reflection, he has come to the conclusion that a demon of anger has taken over him, then he can take a third step, that of profound inner meditation.

'The Human Being and Universe that surrounds Us'
A discovered defect must be integrally comprehended by means of analysis, through creative comprehension, during meditation on the evident self-reflection of the Being.

'The Doctrine of Fire':
First, we must discover the defect, thereafter we must work on it, and in order to reach in-depth comprehension of it we need of the evident self-reflection of the Being.

'The Need to crystallize the Soul':
Instead of criticizing the lives of others, we must criticize our own. When we have found some defect within ourselves, we must analyze it carefully, open it up — I repeat — with the scalpel of self-criticism. This is possible with the “evident self-reflection of the Being,” with in-depth meditation as its basis.

'The Sacrifice of Pain and Sufferings for the Increase of Consciousness':
What to do to save yourself from that pain, how to take advantage of it? How to give up the pain that this has caused? There is a way to solve it and to sacrifice that pain. which one? The evident self-reflection of the Being, the exploration of oneself.

In this case, the evident self-reflection of the Being is the exploration of oneself through reflection. Is this right? Or does he mean self-reflection PLUS exploration?

Same lecture, although a bit different:
So, the important thing in life is to have that capacity for self-evident self-reflection. But this comes out with the annihilation of the ego, so one can see things more clearly.

For the Few:
Comprehension is the evident self-reflection of the Self.

Here he explains that the evident self-reflection of the Self (Being? Ego?) is equal to comprehension, but in the case of the first quote the steps go like this: 1) self-observation, 2) evident self-reflection of the Being, 3) profound meditation. And meditation is what brings about comprehension, so the order it jumbled.

Fundamentals of Gnostic Education:
...psychology is undoubtedly in itself: evident self-reflection, mystical cognition of the Being, a fundamental cognition of an awakened consciousness.

Revolution of the Dialectic:
Every human being who likes the psychological revolution must reflect upon all that which is related with the quantum phenomena, in order to extract from it the self-concept and the evident self-reflection of the Being.

Pistis Sophia:
The annihilation of the psychic aggregates can be made possible only by radically comprehending our errors through meditation and by the evident Self-reflection of the Being.

Reading all the quotes, I noticed that the order is not set in stone, sometimes the evident self-reflection has as its basis meditation, sometimes it comes before meditation, sometimes it seems like it is meditation, etc.

In conclusion what is the evident self-reflection of the Being?
And what is the explanation regarding of how it fits in with self-observation, self-remembering, and meditation?

Thank you!

Evident self-reflection of the Being is when you are conscious and awake as an Essence. It is the state of creative comprehension and understanding of any particular phenomena, whether internal or external.

It is evident because such self-reflection is a spiritual state of receiving evidence, insight, and realization of the facts.

The following lecture (and course below) reference states of evidentiary exploration, understanding, and recognition of spiritual facts within oneself, which produces profound inspiration and joy.

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
