Greetings

I have a few concerns that i am hoping to get clarification on;

1. Is writing a letter to the Temple of Alden still an option for anyone seeking healing? If so are there any steps one shoupd take other than what was mentioned in the book.

2. After doing some reading and studying it appears that one of the most important things a seeker of gnosis should do is, sacrifice for others, master meditation, dissolve the ego and maintain chastity. My concern is that is was stated that is one cannot comprehend the ego then one cannot dissolve it, and furthermore meditation is needed to comprehend the ego. Thus for a beginner who is only just starting in their practices to learn to meditate, what can i do to make progress in the dissolution of the ego, while i work to achieve profound meditation. I am practicing self observation and recognizing egoic habits, but what then can i do if i do not have the tool of meditation to understans them?

3. In relating to meditation as well, it is my understanding from reading that the general progressive order or steps to achieving meditation is 1st mastering day to day self remembrance and mindfulness with daily concentration practices then mastering retrospection and visualization, then meditation, correct? If so, how does the key of sol tie in to this. If we are supposed to be learning to concentrate on one thing, then how does dividing our attention into subject, object and location help us with this.

4. In terms of sacrifice for humanity or charity what would you say is best on how to do that. What i mean is, one can search for local volunteer opportunities like food drives and whatnot, but in learning this information i feel that what is most important is the spread of these teachings. I feel that it is by grace and mercy that i have come upon this information and we are close to end times so should we not be doing all we can to spread this info, and if so then how would someone like me who is new go about doing that. I have not verified this knowledge in the books for myself to be true yet via meditation or direct experience so to tell others of things i have not verified for myself would make me a liar, but should i just say nothing. Or how does one introduce this to their family members or people they know. Should i just ask them have they heard of gnosis and maybe direct them to a particular book?

5. This site is the first and only i came upon that intoduced me to gnosis, a term i knew nothing about, but heard from a youtube video teaching on chakras. This was after many days, weeks of emotional turmoil and asking, begging god to lead me to the truth. This is where he led me. I know that this journey is a personal one, however i would like if possible, a trusted place of gnosis in Los Angeles where one could go for in-person guidance or group meditations if one felt the need. Or should i just work to progress individually until i am able to astral project so that i may study at the feet of the masters in the internal worlds?

Lastly i know this is a lot of questions and the time ans resources put into making these lessons and teachings available to the public are greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

1. Yes, you can write to the Temple of Alden as outlined in The Revolution of Beelzebub.

2. There is no other way than meditation. Fortunately, we have great resources to learn. Start with Meditation Essentials.

3. The Key of Sol helps us to awaken here and in dreams. It is part of mindfulness and self-remembrance, whereby we also observe our defects to gather data for meditation. Here’s a lecture for how to practice this key.

4. Giving books is a great start. Also, you can join our Distance Learning School to participate in group discussions on Samael Aun Weor’s writings, which can serve as a springboard to communicating to others more effectively.

Also, discover your own spiritual vocation.

5. You might be able to find a group near you through meetup.com. In the meantime:

Astral Projection and Dream Yoga (Glorian)

Dream Yoga and Astral Travel (Chicago Gnosis)
