He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables so that,

'they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'"

Is there a gnostic interpretation of the last sentence? The last sentence sounds like Jesus didn't want everyone to be saved. Like he only wanted a few to be saved, whilst the majority continue to suffer in their sins.
As Lion of Judah was saying, Mark 4:12 is an injunction to awaken consciousness, not a condemnation or judgment of people who are incapable of changing. Even though Christ did his part to teach and save humanity, the multitudes rejected him and his message. This is because people love lust and fornication more than chastity and alchemy.

“And he said unto them, unto you (alchemists) it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without (the fornicators), all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand (the spiritual meaning of the written word); lest at any time (through white tantra) they should be converted (into chaste souls), and their (egotistical lustful) sins (from their animal past) should be forgiven them.” – Mark 4: 11, 12

Thanks for your answer. So, this means Jesus wanted the fornicators to be punished for their sins instead of knowing the secret and being saved?

Since Jesus preached love and forgiveness, I find this contradictory. Do you know why he'd want this, even though he preached love and forgiveness?

"So, this means Jesus wanted the fornicators to be punished for their sins instead of knowing the secret and being saved?"

"Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Do not err, my beloved brethren.” James 1: 12-16

"Since Jesus preached love and forgiveness, I find this contradictory. Do you know why he'd want this, even though he preached love and forgiveness?"

"Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” James 2: 17-20
