Inverential peace@All, as I was going through my readings today, I found where the V.M. Samael Aun Weor said we should burn salt and alcohol for healing, I will like to know why not an ordinary incense, why salt and alcohol, any mystery behind it?

Salt is a sacred substance essential to life. Without salt, none of us would be alive. It is the principle of vital healing power. When using alcohol to burn salt, we liberate energy and open the astral atmosphere wherein we can invoke the masters of medicine.
