While dialysis can deal with the blood's physical impurities, the psychological and energetic causes (lust) are not usually dealt with through such procedures.

The health of our kidneys depends on the quality of our mind and sexual energy. If you practice alchemy and scientific chastity, you can regenerate your kidneys and make their chakras glow with a powerful white light, rather than a bloody red aura of passion and lust.

Also, comprehending and annihilating lust purifies the blood, because the ego is the internal cause of sickness and imbalance. Dialysis is important when the kidneys don't function, but the permanent way to heal is to work intensely with the Holy Spirit through chastity, meditation upon and annihilation of the ego, and even the sacred rites if possible. This of course depends on the severity of the illness and the nature of one's karma.
