While meditating and thinking of nothing, how are you supposed to meditate on an ego without stopping your meditation? Because then you stop thinking of nothing and then you aren't out of the ego anymore?

Meditation is not a process of thought. It is about perceiving yourself without an “I.” Visualization allows us to see our defects without any condition, self, label, or idea. It is perception and understanding without the need to think.
