At the moment, I have begun to practice a form of meditation where I vocalise a mantra in my mind.

I'm doing this because it seems to be the simplest form of meditation unlike scrolling through my memories to reflect on corresponding ego's.

Is one form of meditation better than another? Should we switch up our meditation practices?

Any and all insights will be very much appreciated

Mantras are not meditation. They prepare you for meditation.

Work with mantras to stabilize your mind. Then concentrate and visualize your psychological defects seen in action. Combining both mantra and meditation are exceptionally powerful!
