Do you think Jacob abused his power through buying easau’s birthright!

… even though Jacob is Israel… supposedly whom god prefers.

What was the karmic effect of Jacob purchasing the birthright and on top of it… for lentils.

I think abuse of power leads to self destruction.

To me Jacob abused power… if Jacob is Israel…

An example of abuse of power is dominating the minds of others.

…Seems the main reason why we (me) send ourselves to hell realms.

If Jacob did abuse power why?
But why do we abuse and dominate the minds of others?

Why is the such an attraction to the power, especially considering black magic. For example, a person who knows that someone can’t defend themselves would attack them, because they feel powerful. For example, lust is attractive mostly because of power. Another example would be abusing a pet that you know won’t attack you, but not abusing an animal that probably will hurt you.

Or for example, a slave will take power over the plantation, and having them now bow down putting a crown on someone’s head.

Why is power… well… so powerful!

It’s even so powerful that we (me) knowingly would send our selves to hell just for it alone.
Recall that the stories of the bible are not meant to be understood literally, but rather as symbols of spiritual archetypes in each one of us. Jacob represents the human soul, while Esau is the animal mind. Thus, Jacob (the soul) did exactly what he was supposed to do, and was rewarded for it by God.

If you want to learn more about the symbolism of that story, study the lecture linked below.

As for the second part of your question, regarding the allure of power, if power is something that attracts you, then the answer to your question is within you, and you will find the answer if you meditate, and search within the root of that desire.
