We know that there is the path of the intermediate (those who do not want to be adepts), the spiral path, and the Direct Path. We know that the Direct Path is superior to all of these, but we also know few are capable of it.
I feel that it would be worse to be on anything less than the Direct Path. However, I worry that I am not cut out for it, and moreover, very few reach the end, so in general there is a low chance of success.
How can we accept if we are not able to do the Direct Path, that we are only meant for a lesser path? And if we are meant for the Direct Path, how can we understand that very few are able to reach the end (and by rule of basic percentages, we are likely not the few)?
Thank you.
