If I remain steadfast upon the three factors, will I basically be eternally happy like a permanent high?

Because having to constantly fight against my egos leaves little room for happiness since I'm always in mental conflict. Also, it feels like the egos I have are countless. When can I expect to see any tangible results in my happiness levels? Maybe ill be spiritually depressed forever in this life and in the next one ill be happier?

Rather than relying on some possible future life where you may or may not have happiness, inquire into the source of your unhappiness and mental conflict here and now.

What is the source of this conflict? That is, what is conflicting with what?

Generally, this type of conflict arises when we have one sense of self, or collection of thoughts, clashing with a contrary sense of self, or different collection of thoughts. Maybe we call one of them "good" and the other one "evil." Or we label one of these selves, "my ego," and the other one, "my consciousness." But if we examine them we discover they are simply two competing "I's" trapped within the battle of the opposites, causing us pain.

Study the chapter linked below. Pay particular attention to what Samael says about meditation and the superior and inferior "I's." The road out of your present suffering may be closer than you think.
