Which translation of the bible is the most accurate to its original in the English language? Also, same question for the Bhagavagita Quran/Sufi texts and Buddhist texts. Thank you.

Unfortunately no English translation is infallible. However, some recommended versions of these scriptures include:

  • Tanakh: Jewish Publication Society
  • Bhagavad-Gita: Swami Sivananda, Divine Life Society
  • Al-Risalah: Principles of Sufism, Kazi Publications
  • Revelation of the Mystery, Pir Publications
  • Blue Letter Bible (Online)
  • The Way of the Bodhisattva, Shambala
Some of these have the original texts, which is important when cross referencing where the translations came from or what they mean.
