Hello Instructors,
My question is whether it would be proper to say “back to Eden” or “up from Eden”?.
It may be too vague but If you could point to something in the teachings that may provide insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Dominick

It is better if we say “East of Eden” (like the John Steinbeck novel).
We want to first return back to Eden (Yesod) through Resurrection, and from there return up from Eden (to the Absolute through Ascension).

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
