this site has changed my outlook on life, I've been following a gnostic path alone without knowing it for many years, so I want to say thanks to all the instructors here for the direction I've now found.

but the title of this post is about marriage, we should aim to get married to do deeper work yes?, but as some people may know its not that easy for everyone to find like minded people. im sure there are people that would be happy if there were less Gnostic students in the world, and im sure there are also people who would like if there were more.

my question is this, where do people walking in this path in life meet each other? Im not afraid to say its probably an important issue to consider. if we all live lonely lives becoming isolated from society by choice or by force then its a population in decline.

as I live my life and come into contact with 'regular" people I feel more and more lonely. I watch them delight in trying to hurt me and sense how different I have become,i feel like an alien somehow, like an adult at a children's birthday party. I don't mean to be condescending, but sometimes you need the company of another adult if you see my point.

Marriage is determined by the Being, karma, and the choices we make. The quality of those relationships depends upon the quality of your consciousness.

If you raise your level of being, you will attract circumstances different from having an inferior level of being. The same applies to all relationships in life. Therefore, if you want a stable foundation for interacting with a marital partner, then it is best to work on eliminating a lot of ego so that you can become a better spouse.

However, just because we are married does not mean we will escape the suffering and loneliness of initiation.
