Most of what people call values, morals, or beliefs are nothing but the dreams of the ego and our selfish attachments to personality.
The values of the Being constitute real ethics, conscious actions, virtues, spiritual powers, capacities, and wisdom. It is our essential nature, what we own from our divine inheritance. The values of society, personality, and culture constitute everything we have borrowed.

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami

Hi Almustafa,
Thank you so much for your very detailed answer.
I have a follow-up question. I would really appreciate it if you could help me.
Context:
I find it very very difficult at my stage of spiritual development to know what the truth of a situation is - when it is my being and when it is my ego guiding my decision-making - even upon hours of meditation.
For example, I had a pressing situation to receive a covid vaccine or keep my job.
I noticed through meditation that I have formed a 'belief' that I do not trust the government' and 'the medical establishment' - this belief was formulated through many different sources, mainly;
- Through trying to understand Samael Aun Weor's teachings
- A general observation of the government and medical establishments tendencies toward corruption, evil, and ignorance, and their general inability to see beyond the material physical world, etc.)
Because of this lack of 'trust', I made a decision according to that belief to not get the vaccine.
Question 1: What should one do in a case like this when they are at a low level on the path and are unable to receive direct information from the being and be able to discern the truth and facts.
- Should one just remain patient and wait for answers from the being?
- Or should one try to make the best-educated decision with the external information one has and according to their values, beliefs, attitudes, opinions. etc
(This is very difficult when there are very pressing decisions to be made)
Question 2: Is it ok, to have values, attitudes, beliefs, opinions, etc or should we try to abandon all of them?
(At my stage on the path where I do not yet know the truth it is very difficult to make any decision.)
Thank you for any guidance you can give me.

The answers come when we cease desiring them.
