Hello.

My question is about a reoccurring issue for me.

Is desire bad? Perhaps a better word would be "pull."
When you feel inclined to do something, when something is attracting you.

For example, you are listening to a piece of music and you can feel a wave of energy moving within you, and as a reaction to this wave, you feel pulled to dance, to write, to engage with whatever energy this is.

How do you discern if this pull is coming from your Being and should be engaged with to further your progression?
And is there a difference between feeling called/pulled to do something and feeling a desire to do something?

I hope this is clear enough. Please let me know if I can clarify anything.
Thank you!

To discriminate the origins of our psychological impulses requires meditation on the functioning of our five centers in our human machine.

Have a look at the resources below:

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
