Hi fratres,
I've been pondering on this question recently and this question may seem philosophical in nature. But I'm also interested in learning about mystical traditions or explanations in regards to the following questions.
1. Where does "evil" come from?
2. Why is there the duality between "good" and "evil" and not more?
3. Why does "good" seem to be the stronger force over "evil" in the cosmos?
4. Why does evil seem to have a stronger hold over the world(Malkuth) may be compared to higher dimensions of consciousness?
5. Why did the Gods, Cherubims, Angels, Ascended Masters choose to be "good" over "evil"?
From what I've learned, "The road to hell is paved with 'good' intentions". This means most people even those who are evil have the innate desire to do "good". Even Beelzebub had a blue flame for his followers even though he was demon. Is it may be inherent in nature for "good" to have dominance over evil? or Is evil just the "absence" of good?
I had an OBE some years ago where I stood somewhere and saw a group of people flying towards us. Everyone started running away. I asked what was happening. Someone whispered to me those were "demons" coming. I started running away? After flying for a few minutes I stood somewhere and this entity approached me. He asked me why I ran away when I saw them. I responded "Someone said you're a demon". He responded but he hasn't hurt anyone. Someone standing next to me said "He's trying to say the end justifies the means." I simply replied "Being a demon is about awakening the consciousness in ego." He gave me this pensive look. I later woke up.
I've been thinking about this experience lately and will be happy to hear other thoughts and ideas on this.
