Hello,
Facebook's and Apple's "Metaverse" virtual reality programs seem to be all of the rage. Most people who I have talked to about it are in consternation about it. I personally do not think it is that big of a deal, just a fad. Although, several years ago I used to be very concerned about similar issues regarding webcams and phone cameras, doing stuff life placing white out on my webcam so that "people could not look at me." I have long gotten over all of that though. Again, many people seem to have similar hang ups about virtual reality, and I am just curious if this relates to our spiritual development at all.
Upon starting writing this post, I started getting carried away with many irrelevant questions. I'm not sure how that relates but I totally see how our minds can easily get away from us regarding this subject.
Thank you and Happy New Year!

For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
Thank you for this question & this beautiful answer...
"Renouncing laziness, for which there is no time in this life,
I must enter the undistracted path of study, reflection and meditation."
"Now, having obtained a precious human body, this one time,
I do not have the luxury of remaining on a distracted path."
