I am aquainted with a gnostic movement in my country that celebrates gnostic mass in lumisials where second chamber gnostics gather with priests, they follow vm samael and vm lakshmi, is this school legit?

Also I would assume instructors for this page go through some kind of formation which requires gathering

I did not refute them.

All of our instructors are second chamber members and leaders, and most operate groups, temples, or churches. So, we do not discourage or renounce groups. However, groups must be understood properly. Sadly, most people want to belong to a group for a sense of security; once they "belong" they feel "saved," as if attending a group means they are on the path. This is false.

Furthermore, the real Gnostic Church and all the real temples are not in the physical world. Yet again, people lose sight of this, and believe their physical group is the real Gnostic group, but this is false.

The real rituals are in the internal worlds, not the physical world.

The authentic masters are in the internal worlds, not the physical world.

Therefore, like Samael Aun Weor did, we encourage all students to stop seeking physically, but seek internally.

No one needs a physical group to be on the path. Everything you need is internal.

You are free to do whatever you wish.

It is worth noting that Samael Aun Weor wrote many books and gave many lectures, but never said that it is necessary to belong to a group. In fact, many times, he wrote the opposite. For instance:

"In the remote past, there were authentic mystery schools in the physical world, but today those schools of internal instruction must be sought within our inner universe. The current spiritual schools of the physical world are all, absolutely all, dens of black magic...

"Nevertheless, the parrots of spirituality cover their weaknesses with that parochial statement that they need these so-called schools to learn the basics. What fools. Twenty centuries have passed since the Christ came to earth and they still have not learned the basics, the first letters... These fools are believing that they can mock the holy doctrine of the Nazarene with impunity. These fools believe that learning theories is how they will free themselves. These nonsensical ones do not want to realize that maxim of Christ that says thus:

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” —Matthew 6:33

"Who among those nitwits has fulfilled the greatest commandment of the law of God?

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul , and with all thy mind, and thy neighbour as thyself.” —Luke 10:27

"Do you not know that you are the temple of the eternal living God, and that the Most High dwells in your heart?

"You were taught the Our Father precisely so that you would learn to converse with your inner God, and yet you are looking for loopholes within schools. How foolish you are!

"So what is the need for schools if the master is within, and he calls us?" - Samael Aun Weor, Secret Notes of a Guru

He also repeatedly wrote that we should not follow anyone in the physical world. Yet, people still do it.

Interesting thank you, as I said I am aquainted and am grateful to them for introducing me to saw but dont actually attend the gatherings.

Samael during his life actually did many massive gatherings though and pretty much established a gnostic church, there are videos of his lectures with audiences.

He also mentions sanctuaries and lumicials in several messages

The Message Of Aquarius Samael Aun Weor

PREFACE
In the name of the Truth, we, the Brethren of the Temple, give infinite thanks to our
brother Manuel S. Sanches and to all the brotherhood of the Sanctuary of Barquisimeto
for making the printing of this book possible. That Sanctuary will be named from now
on, Sanctuary Maitreya, because of the services given to the Cosmic Christ, as well as,
the service given to this great suffering humanity.

In South America there are several of these groups and there is even temples and entire communities in Venezuela and Colombia for example. Given that SAW was born in Colombia I would not disregard them.

I agree with you, when I was participating in the groups I saw some people that seemed very awake but also some who where very egoic

Belonging to the group does not determine your spiritual growth, however they do mention that it helps to have a space to share and do the practices and rituals with others so as to not get lost in the material world

In my experience I did feel a certain bliss when leaving the meetings but unfortunately I have yet to experience the internal worlds due to lack of disicipline and stopped attending in order to look more inside what is the understanding I am missing in order to awaken my consciousness more and control my will
