Hello, please help with an answer concerning sexual act.
- We can transmute either doing pranayama or in sex with a spouse. Through pranayama we direct the sexual energy from sexual organ to the spinal column to the brain.
But in sexual act we chant mantras and pray to the divine forces to eliminate defects. Correct?
Why do we direct energy in pranayama and not in the sexual act? Did I understand correctly? Please help.

Everything you said is right, except that with alchemy, you also direct the sexual energy up the spine to the brain, and then the heart. It is the same as pranayama, with the addition of one’s spouse.

Yes, couples use mantras to transmute the sexual energy, just as bachelors do.
Couples and bachelors can also pronounce mantras to eliminate egos. The difference lies in the fact that in the sexual act, couples have more power to eliminate much more. This is described in The Mystery of the Golden Flower.

Hello. Since no one ever said anything about the right sexual practice, no one taught it, it s very confusing. Is it because of my karma and every ones around me too? Cause everybody in society seems to have interest in lust.
So, for couples, to begin, we start with pranayama alone, since our animal bodies are not accustomed at all. We practice pranayama (chanting mantras and directing the energy from spinal column to the brain) and then, after some months, we can begin the sexual act, with very short acts at first, little by little expending time. In which we also chant mantras, and pray to the Divine mother to eliminate egos. And there is no need to direct energy, like in pranayama, from spinal column to the brain, right?
I'm stuck with this important issue, and want to move forward. Please help!
