Hello dear Gnostic brethrens, I was wanting to know the Kabalistic symbolism behind the many hands on some Hindu God's, I want to say "will-power or Thelema" but am not sure, what you guys think, can it represent the sephirah tipheret?
The hands represent action. Divinity has many hands in the sense that the Being acts selflessly, everywhere, on behalf of suffering beings. Christ, the compassion of infinite wisdom, is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnimerciful.
For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
