Good evening! I wanted to ask a question regarding this therapy practice I came across recently. It is called EFT tapping, and it involves letting go of emotional and limiting beliefs through tapping certain acupuncture points in the body.

For example, people with severe trauma and PTSD have done tapping sessions where they get into the mental state that triggers these strong emotions and through tapping they let go of them.

My question is, is there anything wrong with practicing this? I feel like it is a great tool to analyze and let go of buried emotions that are limiting my life but at the same time I don’t want to be doing anything that will affect my ethical path.

Thank you so much for your time, I am forever grateful to have come across the information I have found in this site.

All of those who have escaped suffering did so by means of meditation on the causes of suffering. There is no other way.
