Hi,
I am having difficulty understanding certain concepts of Gnostic Psychoanalysis that I'm reading in the book 'Revolution of the Dialectic'.
The concepts are Countertransference and the remedies, transactional and structural analysis.
I think I get the gist of them but would be very grateful if someone could explain using a scenario?
My thinking is that, say for the defect of lust, I am trying to observe a situation in meditation but I start to be aroused by it - Would that be countertransference?
If so, then what are the structures and transactions that need to be analysed?
If I am on the wrong track could you give me an example of the concepts anyway?
Thank you

Hi,
Sorry I didn't reply or select 'accept answer' sooner. I was trying to compile a suitable reply to correspond with the situation I found myself which prompted the question, but to be honest, it is a separate matter to the question I asked.
So, yes the suggested courses within your answer cover the details of the concepts I asked about and answered the question.
Kind regards
