"..12And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their WORKS. 13And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their WORKS.."

That being said, Is there ANYWHERE in the New Testament texts (Paul's Letters/etc) where a Practical Method of identifying and eliminating flaws (Pride/lust/Lying/etc) SUBJECTIVELY exists?

I recall passages about church members identifying flaws in others and confronting others but I've seen this go horribly wrong in the churches today and the same problems persist. (I might even add that I have seen a lot of fear and aversion/etc(?) leading to a form of White Nationalism in the church community in the United States)

Ugh! I've lost a lot of good christian friends to the problems listed above and just cannot find a segway to introducing Eastern religious practices to dear friends in the volunteer community as I still struggle feeling "hypocritical"...
Hello ד]בריאל],

Have you seen the following course on The Book of Revelation? It has many quotes about psychological purification that are explained through Gnostic exegesis.

As for Buddhism within the teachings of Jesus, see The Path of the Bodhisattva.

Hello, I am new here and no enlightened master; however, while I may not be able to help you with this question, I felt compelled to respond because I found myself wondering recently why Jesus apparently never referenced Buddha and that path. To go further, Jesus seems to say that his path was the only path (I am the Way, the Truth and the Light ...) , which would seem to indicate the path Buddha represents is false, even though it does seem very similar.

I will be watching this thread for clarification. Thank you for the question.
