Matthew 18:21, 22.
Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?" Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven."

What is the significance behind this numbers Kabalisticily?
Forgiveness relates to the Holy Denying, the work of Christ in the second triangle, the triangle of ethics, whose center of gravity is Tiphereth, the Son of Man, the Human Soul. Nonetheless:

“But thou, Bethlehem Ephphathah (which means “Be opened!”), though thou be little (pineal gland) among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel (the archetypes); whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.” – Micah 5: 2

Peter represents the sexual alchemical work of the human soul in Yesod from the pineal gland, seat of the human soul united to the child of the child in Bethlehem, as well as, the seat of the atom of the Holy Spirit, whose Crown is Kether, the father of all the lights, the first manifestation of the Ain Soph, our Inner Star.

Seventy is 10 times seven, which indicates the 10 sephiroth of the second mountain or mountain of resurrection, where the manas, man (the authentic Manu or Monad) after having eliminated the egos of the 96 laws of Klipoth on Malkuth, has to attain the 9 degrees of mastery by descending to the Klipoth of the nine sephiroth of the world of formation, namely, Yesod-Angels, Hod-Archangels, Netzach-Principalities, Tiphereth-Powers, Geburah-Virtues, Chesed-Dominations, Binah-Thrones, Chokmah-Cherubim and Kether-Seraphim.

So, Christ works there as a savior within the 490 levels of the mind, manas, man (the authentic Manu).
