And when he had opened the third seal [Hod], I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse [the body of desires]; and he that sat on him [the Ego] had a pair of balances in his hand [Karma].

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a denary, and three measures of barley for a denary (the female and male sexual seed in Malkuth can be transmuted even with scarcity); and see thou hurt not the [sexual] oil [of Yesod, the producer of light] and the wine [of transubstantiation in Hod, the spiritual agent of the astral light - Christ].”

(Only the one who dominates the sexual impulse has the power to distinguish between passion and love and be fed with the spiritual food of Yesod and Hod and thus see the light within himself).

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal [Geburah], and, lo, there was a great earthquake [in Malkuth]; and the sun [of understanding] became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon [of Hod] became as blood [with passion]; And the stars [the lasciviousness] of [the head] heaven fell unto the earth [Malkuth], even as a fig tree [the sexual feminine force] casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind [of the spirit].
