Dear instructors,
How can one navigate the issue of chronic pain that affects quality of life, such as being able to walk or sit comfortably? By chronic, I mean pain which does not seem to get better, or worsens, over a long period of time despite conservative treatments. I suppose the question can be broadened to suffering from any affliction which significantly disrupts or distracts from daily life.
In particular, the loss of mobility can be defeating especially if one hopes to preserve the health of the physical body.
Are the sacred rites of rejuvenation advisable for these instances, or is there perhaps a karmic obstacle that must be overcome first, either by enduring the pain or strengthening the efforts in our work? Are there specific prayers which are best?
Many thanks.
