Hi Instructors,

After forgiving someone is it still ok (out of wisdom from past experiences) to ignore/choose not to associate with that someone even if you work together?

Or after forgiving that person is it like a clean slate again?

Thank you kindly,

Forgiveness and conscious love is necessary. However, knowing how to safely navigate relationships requires caution, restraint, skill, and wisdom.

Justice without mercy is tyranny. Mercy without justice is complacency with wrong.

Knowing how to relate to others who have harmed us requires great compassion, but also great discernment, judgment, and even ethical boundaries, so that we do not become victims of other people's perversities.
