Escaping sodom and Gomorrah, as I understand esoterically is escaping every bad influence that might hinder our spiritual advancement and might be a step back to our righteousness, so it is to escape and never psychologically do the causes of sufferings, as to lessen the karma, is this the correct way of understanding this myth
