Simple question, what is the difference between the "soul" and the "consciousness", how is it that we don't have the soul but have 3 percent of consciousness, I thought that this two were one and the same, but got confused a little bit? Any clarification, I would appreciate?

To my understanding the soul is what is found when we separate our flesh and our spirit.. the consciousness is found within the human mind. A soul might have ties to both the conscious and unconscious. Isn't the purpose of life to learn and a soul gives unlimited insight through all times so perhaps it too holds what we don't recall ad what we do. This would explain y it is so important.. what carries our lifetime once we leave the shell we reside in but a soul? Any other takers
