Can creating music or otherwise using the creating energy in creative and wholesome ways assist to transmute the sexual energy?
Gnosis teaches that the primary techniques for transmutation are through pranayama and tantric practices but does not speak much on lifestyle practices such as creating music. I agree that these are essential but am looking for more practices to supplement these especially to supplement my pranayama practice as a single neophyte.
My intuition tells me that if I can learn to play an instrument and to sing in a conscious way and with the right intentions then this could be a constructive form of transmutation. I would like to use it as a tool to learn to better express myself and to share my essence with others.
I can see it as a practice that would help to stabilize my mind and learn to consciously direct my creative energies while I prepare myself for higher forms of transmutation.
These things seem logical to me and I am asking because I have not heard or read a lot about the benefits of music besides Samael Aun Weor talking about the great classical composers and the benefits of listening to them. If there is more material on this subject that I may have missed I would much appreciate some links. Thank you!

Transmuted sexual energy is the medium for manifesting high Art from the superior worlds. While composing is a creative act, it is not the mere cause of transmutation, but its consequence.

Inferior emotional and inferior intellectual centers are right now vibrating with the inferior circle of eternity, that is to say, the inferior fifth dimension, hell.

As I mentioned I am aware of the benefits of classical music as stated by Samael Aun Weor. It is also clear that the majority of music is used as a tool by the masses to worship the ego.
However, this question specifically relates to the practice of the individual creating their own music and the potential for this to develop the superior emotional centre and to assist in transmuting the sexual energy. It seems logical that it may be beneficial to the individual in the active and expressive role of creating and playing music as opposed to the passive one of listening. Especially since our creativity comes from our sexual energy. So I am asking if I should follow my intuition on this.
I can see that it is supremely important to choose the right kind of music to be spiritually beneficial but my question is about creating music and the spiritual role of this.
