The woman that I have been practicing with was on birth control but has agreed to stop taking it after reading another post. However, she is having a tonne of pain, anxiety, and fear about this and wants to take them again for her health. She has been on the pill since her puberty with the exception of a few times where she was off of them for a couple months or so. She gets two periods a month and they are causing her great duress now that she is off those pills. I want to practice but I feel bad asking her to endure suffering. She was perscribed these pills by her doctor long before she started having sex and has many other health problems. I had hoped that practing the Arcanum would cure her of these things but I truly know nothing.

Is it impossible to practice when she is on these pills?
Why?
What do you advise?

Deepest gratitude for your help

Birth control pills sterilize the body and sexual energy. Therefore, the roots of the Tree of Knowledge become seriously malnourished, inhibited, and affected.

There are exercises to heal oneself of menstrual irregularities without resorting to chemicals, if that is her will. The book Esoteric Medicine and Practical Magic has some different treatments you can find by looking up the term “menstruation” in the index. This should be combined with sacred rites for rejuvenation.

However, regarding your partner’s choices:
