Hello,

Hope you are all doing well. I have a very strong aversion to the lecturer with the foreign accent. You probably know whom I am referring to, but he teaches for example this lecture. I have been able to avoid his lectures, at my own expense of course, but am now taking the Distance Learning Course and must listen to his lectures as part of the study material, so we have to do deal with it.

As far as I have been able to ascertain from my experience listening to the lectures, the my awareness of the aversion is pretty basic. He provides, to me at least, the "most bitter beverage of God." To me and my idiosyncrasies, he is like a lemon.

It has, of course, nothing to do with xenophobia in the most literal sense of the word, but Gnosis is too revolutionary for "me," which is a problem and a post of its own, yet is related to this issue.

There is certainly no need to contact him in regard to this post, unless you think that is appropriate, but if you could provide any advice on how to deal with this issue, it would be much appreciated. Thank you for all that you do.

Sincerely,
Adam
My advice is to meditate on the effects of listening to his lectures, to observe the benefits after listening. This comprehension may decrease your aversion. If it is a serious obstacle for you, then I recommend reading the transcription rather than listening to the audio.
