My question is are weightlifting exercises that load and strengthen the spine (barbell squats, barbell deadlifts, barbell rows, ect.) ok, in moderation, for someone on the path who is transmuting their sexual energies and working towards the death of their egos?
My concern is that there could be some kind of negative or dangerous crystallization of the spine. I know we need to take good care of our spine I know Samael Aun Weor said that Hatha Yoga can be harmful, but I don't know how strength training or weightlifting stands or relates to this. I have a home gym and I personally enjoy lifting weights, but I don't want to continue to do it if it will harm or hinder my progress in the work on myself.
A friend of mine told me cardio exercises, such as running, help transmute the sexual energies. Is this true?

Thank you so much for all that you do! May all Beings be happy and free!

There is nothing wrong with keeping the body in shape.

In any case, the issue with Hatha Yoga is the 'system' of enlightenment that is taught along with it. It is presented as a way to achieve enlightenment, which is wrong.

Nothing spiritually positive or negative occurs through doing physical exercise related to the spine.
