Greetings,

Hope are all doing well. I am wondering whether or not I am being inappropriate by not wearing a shirt when I go to sleep. Is it okay for males to just wear boxers?

Venerable Master Samael Aun Weor writes that people should dress modestly for dream yoga, yet does not necessarily indicate what that means.

I have been wanting to ask this question for awhile, yet never got around to it. :( Fortunately, I had an experience last night during a dream where I became conscientious about my attire and appearance. It is not exactly an inspiring sight.

If you could provide any guidance regarding this, I would appreciate it. I very much dislike wearing shirts. They feel like a straight jacket. If it was the right thing to do though, I could get used to a tank undershirt or something.

Thank you for everything! Bests!

Kind Regards,
Adam

There is no dress code for dream yoga. The point is to dress comfortably and feel relaxed so you can sleep. Besides, you don’t take your clothes with you when you leave your body every night!

Dreams of nakedness or discomfort in one’s appearance are psychological, i.e. representations of insecurity, fear, vulnerability, weakness, shame, your self-image, how others see you, your appearance, etc.
