A few years ago i was introduced to a guy by a mutual friend who like myself had an interest in the occult.

It was extremely rare for me to meet someone else who shared such an interest and so we spoke for hours and i was impressed by the guys knowledge.

He invited me and my wife to his house and from then on it became a regular weekly visit.

Initially he showed us some practical things like making incense and smudge sticks and would teach us how to use herbs and plants for medicinal purposes.

During our visits he gave us some books, a wooden pentagram, and wands that he had made for both of us.

I felt uneasy about accepting his gifts but did not wish to offend him as he was insistent we take them.

On one occasion he told us that he had been involved with a local witch coven and he had had a falling out with the head witch and he wanted us to do a ritual with him to put a spell on the head witch.
I told him firmly that we had no interest in any form of black magic and therefore would be declining any involvement.

We were invited around to his house again and i felt uneasy about going but did not wish to upset him.

Initially he was as usual very charming and entertaining, however later he again wanted us to do a ritual with him that we both declined.

We left amicably and that was the last time we visited him.

I realised that i had been naive and that this guy was a black magician and i wanted to return the items that he had given us, however i did not wish to offend him as to be honest, i liked him and enjoyed his company.

He has since moved away but i still have the items that he gave to us and have thought that i should maybe burn them.

Today i was reading on this website about how Beelzebub had to return items he was given by the black lodge when he left there to join the white lodge and it reminded me of the items given to us that our still in our home.

I appreciate this is on a completely different scale but it has bothered me for some time that having these items in our home could be causing us some harm.

Therefore my questions are, can having these items in our home cause us any harm and if so how ?

And if they are, how should we deal with them ?

I have personally thrown away similar items when realizing the intentions and manipulation of their donors, because material substances and objects can be used to infiltrate our psychology in the same manner as a Trojan horse.

Follow your intuition and take precautions. It’s not good to open our doors to people when we sense and know in our heart that something is wrong.

This would explain why it is said that black magicians use to charge master versions of music CDs during ceremonies (in order to then copy the master record with the curse and then sell it to the masses). But then the question is, are such ceremonies done with the books of Samael Aun Weor in a positive manner? One often feels a boost in consciousness or energy, when reading his books.

No. We let the master’s words speak for themselves. :)
