Master Samael says that Imagination, Inspiration, Intuition are the obligatory steps of initiation.

I understand that these three steps of direct knowledge are indispensable for the comprehension of the psychic aggregates.

But, what is the meaning of 'obligatory steps of initiation'?
You cannot begin to understand your Being, your current stage of development, or the path without 1) perceiving non-physical imagery (self-observation), 2) recognizing divine symbolism (or the structures and dynamics of desire), and 3) intuiting its meaning (through creative comprehension).
