I have noticed something, which is the fact that people who listen to music of different genres say in one go usually lack focus and attentions, what I mean is if I am listening to a song now of. a particular genre then I suddenly feel a sensation that wants to listen to a COMPLETELY different genre, is this a sign of lack of willpower, attention, I suffer from this and I just intuitively feel this is a defect. I just would like to confirm

Yes, this is the chief characteristic of a distracted mind: not being able to hold one’s attention on one thing for any prolonged period of time, or jumping into many different activities without focusing on one.

Here’s a suggestion: pick a piece of classical music, such as a symphony of Beethoven, and listen to it all the way through with a receptive attitude. See what you can intuit and experience in your superior emotional center through that. :)
