Is there any psychological or physiological reasons why I would NOT want to teach my children OM MASI PADME HUM as opposed to OM MANI PADME HUM? I know that eastern children are taught this from a young age and it has become apparent to me that it is time for me to pass this on to my children as well. However, I do not want to awaken in them something that they will not be able to process properly at such a young age.

As explained in the lecture below, the variation with the S is only needed once the sexual energy is active (after puberty). So, choose what is appropriate. Either way, the mantras are powerful for the consciousness, no matter what age the physical body is.

“Nothing is easier than self-deceit. For what each man wishes, that he also believes.” —Demosthenes

"Do not worry; cultivate the habit of being happy." —Samael Aun Weor
