Saludos a todos! That's how it's said in spanish.

I feel a little confused. I'm new to gnosis. This is what my experience is. Before I started doing awareness exercises I already had a very confident and strong presence. This was not arrogance nor pride, because everyone that knows me acknowledges that I AM a gentelmen.

Once I started doing relaxation exercises and started to be more aware of my awareness, my confidence and my presence took a back seat. I know being relaxed is good for the body, but that confidence and presence was GOOD, and it was used for the GOOD of others. I don't want to feel like jelly!

I'm 23 and I have the presence of a strongminded man in his 40's. Men younger and older than me respected me off the bat, and I made many friends and aquaintances because of the way I carried myself. I carried myself like a strong gentleman. People can feel this presence, aura, energy from across the room.

But what has me feeling off balance the most is that I feel like I lost the motivation to do what I was placed here to do. And that is to sing Opera.

Please be sensitive with your response. I'm new to Gnosis, I am not prideful. I'm just a good man with strength, who uses that strength on behalf of others. I don't know what to do.

Does this mean that I simply have to learn how to be strong and motivated in a relaxed body?

To become fully relaxed is to relax in the body without any tension, to relax in the mind, and to relax your emotions, to be relaxed in the heart. Learning to relax your body is excellent. That is only the first step however. If you look at the questions you posted, you will see that the next step is to analyze if your mind is relaxed and work on that.

If you are worried that your strength of character and presence is affected by your relaxation practice that is tension in the mind. Many aggitated thoughts.

If your biggest worry is that you will not be able to sing Opera, then that is tension in the heart. Your emotional center is not relaxed because you don't want to lose your motivation to perform Opera.

In the past I used to describe myself the same way. A strong gentleman who helps people. Then a change in environment showed me that my strong body is very weak to disease. My brilliant mind that could solve any problem only kept getting me into more and more trouble. My heart which loved and helped people, stopped caring so much about others, once I was faced with my own problems.

Just send a “rational mammal” to the middle of the Sahara desert, one of those who claims to be influential in life; leave him there, far away from any oasis, and observe from an airplane what occurs.

Facts will speak for themselves: the “intellectual humanoid,” though he boasts that he is powerful and believes he is a real Human Being, turns out to be frightfully weak. Treastise of Revolutionary Psychology.

The solution is to have your strength come from your constant remembrance of God, and to strengthen your faith in God. It's not when other people are around that your strength shows. It's when your by yourself. Someone who can walk in a heavy rainstorm against hurricane winds with a smile and genuinely be happy because of their remembrance of God is someone who has strength.

Study the book of Job, and watch the Florestine Aria "Gott! Welch Dunkel Hier" from the Beethoven Opera Fidelio.

Look at the examples of the great masters like Jesus, Samael Aun Weor, Joan of Arc, etc. They had strength in a different way.

Take it easy! :)

Gnosis demands of us to reevaluate our self-concept, identity and self-image, since oftentimes we think we are a certain way, when the reality is different. It is impossible for us to accurately gauge your personality over the internet, but due to many years of study and reflection on these teachings, it is safe to say that we truly do not know ourselves enough, and assume a lot. Rather than critiquing or criticizing you in any way, we invite you to investigate yourself through the practices of this science and to go deeper. If you get results, do not judge them in any way, but simply investigate: do not approve or disapprove.

You will find that by effectively implementing these exercises, your confidence, identity and self-image will radically improve. This is due to the fact that by annihilating the ego, our defects, vices and errors, we come to reflect as a polished, perfect mirror, the image and happiness of the divine. So continue in your practices: be patient. You might be coming to recognize important facets about yourself that you never saw before. There's no need to be frightened or discouraged. Just keep practicing. In time, you will develop an even stronger, more robust confidence that comes from God, which is truly impenetrable and unshakeable in this world.

Joyful in hope, suffering in tribulation, be thou constant in thy prayer.

Benedictis, qui venit in nomine Domini. Osanna in excelsis.

"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Hosanna in the highest!"
