Hello, do animals feel pain as we do? I read somewhere at one point pregnancy wasnt as painful for woman.
All sentient beings avoid pain and want happiness. This is a fundamental tenet of Buddhism. Before the Fall in Lemuria, women gave birth to children without pain, because they followed divine, natural laws that governed the processes of conception, gestation, and genesis. When we broke off from the spiritual laws that brought us balance, equanimity, and knowledge of God, we subjected ourselves to the inferior laws of the hell realms: pride, aversion, wrath, suffering, hatred, lust, desire, etc. If we enter the esoteric path, we can learn to govern ourselves through the divine commandments of the Elohim, and thus escape the animal mode of behavior that produces friction, dissonance, and affliction.
