Why is smoking Tobacco allowed or not prohibited in Islam? They say consuming alcohol is a sin, so is smoking "weed", but when it comes to smoking Tobacco, all Muslims agree that it is alright! So are they right or wrong, I believe they are wrong, but what do you guys think about these? OKAY thanks guys, I tried to make these Question as short as possible, and less quotations from the Master's works!

A tobacco fatwa is a fatwa (Islamic legal pronouncement) that prohibits the usage of tobacco by Muslims. All contemporary rulings condemn smoking as potentially harmful or prohibit (haram) smoking outright as a result of the severe health damage that it causes. -Wikipedia
Gnostics likewise are instructed not to smoke, drink, or take intoxicants. This is because we need a healthy mind and physical body by which to perform the spiritual work.

And thank you so much for your wise answer, I was puzzled now I got it, "so these Fatwas (Legal pronouncements) do not come for Allah and the prophet, but some educated scholars within the Religion, so from what you are saying, it's the opinion of someone called a mufti; that is an Islamic legal scholar who is capable of pronouncing his judgments, his opinions on any kind of legal issue with regard to Islam. Okay and it seems like as long as they have ego, they will continue to mislead they're fellowmen, wow interesting.
