There are many lectures on this website by gnostic instructors.
If one begins to read these, one discovers that these instructors are highly qualified and experienced gnostics. They are true missionaries who stand out from the rest.
But I have observed that these lectures also have an adverse effect on aspirants of gnosis.
You see, when a student reads the books of Master Samael, the spiritual longing in his heart grows stronger. And he is only left with two things: his Innermost for guidance and practices from the books.
Thus, the student inevitably learns how to rely solely on the help of his Being. He does not look for solutions here and there; he takes his grievances to his Mother.
Alongside this, the student is also equipped with the magical works of the Master, which so wonderfully illuminate the straight and narrow path that lies ahead.
It is my humble opinion, that this is all a student should have. Nothing more.
Why do I say so?
Because when so many lectures and instructors are at the disposal of the student, he does not learn to rely solely on his intuition. When faced with a grave obstacle, he frantically searches for answers here and there. He reads lectures upon lectures. He is fascinated by the wonderful explanations in the lectures. And amidst all this, he does not dedicate much time to his Innermost. He does not know how to beg his Mother. He tends to forget that the explanations in the lectures are useless unless they are directly experienced. And if they are directly experienced, then the explanations are rendered useless.
The lectures explain different aspects of gnosis. And the intellect of a naive student satisfies itself with these explanations.
Of course, all that I have stated is for our brothers and sisters who are starting out in the path to gnosis.
It is simply my humble opinion that I request you to consider.
Thank you.

To preach without unveiling is equivalent to not teaching. - Samael Aun Weor, Magic of the Runes
Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. - Matthew 7:16
"Do not worry; cultivate the habit of being happy." - Samael Aun Weor

If a student chooses to be fascinated by lectures and intellectual explanations, instead of developing intuition, it's not the instructor's fault, right?

But if Allah had willed, they would not have associated. And We have not appointed you over them as a guardian, nor are you a manager over them. —Qur’an 6:107
For thirty years I sought God. But when I looked carefully I found that in reality God was the seeker and I the sought. -Bayazid al-Bastami
