Why is Yogananda revered a lot in these tradition? Paramahansa Yogananda from what I recall reading on these site, never worked in the forge of Vulcan, "the nineth sphere", or did not practice sexual alchemy with a spouse; he was a celibate monk who practiced solar celibacy, not sure if he was a twice born? I said these because the present Dalai Lama is heavily revered in these tradition because these tradition claims he is a twice-born, a Venustic initiate, but with Yogananda, nowhere does it say he is a twice born or a master of major mysteries, just a celibate who practiced solar celibacy, that is, he was chaste, so why so much honor to him?

I have no idea who you are referring to as "revering" Yogananda. No one in our tradition does, to my knowledge.

Questions?

Audience: Do you need to have the Solar bodies in order to have experiences related with God?

Instructor: No. What you need in order to experience what God is, is discipline, meditation. You have a baby inside; that baby is the Buddhadatu. You can develop that Buddhadatu with the annihilation of lust, anger, pride, vanity, laziness, gluttony, etc... all of those defects that we have within; by annihilating them, psychologically speaking, through the techniques that we teach, then you develop that Buddhadatu. As a result, in meditation, you can experience these things that we talk about here, with your consciousness.

This is what the great meditators, like Yogananda, did. Yogananda experienced a lot of those Heavens, because he was a very dedicated Yogi. The Yogis are the ones that learn to control the mind. When he died, he did not go to Heaven; he went to Limbo, but with a very awakened consciousness. In Limbo, Master Samael Aun Weor found him, and said to him, "You are here because you are not self-realized. Regardless of all of your development, all of your experiences that you have had, you need to create the Astral body, the Mental body and the Causal body, in order to enter into that Kingdom that you experienced. You were there, in the Kingdom of Heaven, as a tourist."

You can experience the Kingdom of Heaven as a tourist, in a Samadhi. But, if you want to be an inhabitant of those Kingdoms, you need to build the Astral, Mental and Causal bodies. You need to pass through the experience of Resurrection, and to acquire an Immortal Body of Liberation; the Solar physical body. Then, if you die physically, you enter into the Kingdom. However, if you do not possess those bodies, you cannot.

About Yogananda, we only know that he is the sincere mistaken Swami X’s that the Master Samael mentions in his book the Perfect Matrimony, and that is all.
