Our task is to fuse the higher and lower, to find Divine truth within and realise that most, all expressions of our 'selves' here are of the ego. Once you have self-realised, had a union with God, Christ Consciousness, does that mean all activity in life ceases? My inner joy and purpose is share my wisdom and truth that I have found through awakening through books, through group spiritual work and astrology wisdom. Is all this 'work' simply ego? Is earning a living from even the highest form of activity still just ego? How is one to make a living on earth if we are also to sacrifice everything? Are we to live a life of wandering, teaching, healing and living from other's kindness - if we earn money from this to keep a basic, simple home and supplies are we entering into the realm of ego the moment we recieve money and keep posessions? Can there be a balance? My intuition tells me sacrifce means to sacrifice all aspects of ego and its wants and needs and expressions and to live and act entirely in harmony with Soul - and so if we build a life of service that asks for money in order to meet our basic human needs but always comes from love and Divine service than this is the best we can do - is that true?

The higher one rises, the more filled with love one becomes, and the more aware of suffering, thus — driven by cognizance of suffering and love for others — the harder one works, the more one sacrifices.

To serve others, we need to be where others reside: engaged in society.

To do this work, we need a stable physical life: food , clothing, shelter. This means we need an income. For most of us, it means we need a stable job or career.

All of this is known by our inner Being. Our inner Being knows what we need and will provide it, if we but follow the example of Jesus: "Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven."
