Are animals tails the externalization of their souls having a foot in klipoth in regions of instinct. If horns represent intellectual misuse of energy, and tails are the result of energy spent on the animalistic instincts, what emerges when we misuse energy through emotions.
I'd like to imagine that animals have tails for balance and nothing too do with klipoth, but I'd like to hear an instructors opinion. Also is the structure of the tree of life universal for other life forms like an octopus or an advance being? I'd imagine the 2D drawn out representation of the tree life that we are familiar with will not match other life forms. Why is the the tree of life drawn the way it is, why does consciousness ascend diagonally up the tree, why can't there be a straight line from klipoth to kether, why can't the placement of Geburah and Chesed switch, is there any reason besides tradition that we draw the tree the way we do? To my understanding, we draw it such way because it lines up with the human body/mind structure and with the flower of life. But it's only a drawing, a very dumbed down 2D symbolic representation, it's hard for me to imagine that our layout of it is as precise as we can get it, in time as we learn more, would it be likely that tree will change shape?
