Why does Moses allow for slavery, Moses says a man is to be freed on his 7th year but if he has children or a wife, they will still belong to the master, however if he wants to stay with his wife/ children he must commit himself into slavery for life. Quite a harsh ultimatum.

Also Moses gives the commandment thou not kill, but he sends plagues and killed 3000 people for worshipping the golden calf. Very hypocritical, how can this be ok, why would god command us one thing but then tell us another thing. He even says kill those who work on sundays.

Why is Aaron doing stanhe rituals, killing animals burning their bodies and putting blood on his children's faces? What does this accomplish spiritually.

I know I'm very immature spiritually, I also take things very literally, but exodus is a very dark confusing book. I only recently started reading the Bible, it's a hard confusing read for me.

Kabbalah is the symbolic language of the Bible. Without understanding and experiencing Kabbalah, one remains confused.
