Are we in the western world responsible to help people for example suffering of hunger or poverty in other places in the world. Even if we are middel class income are we morally wrong not to help people who have it worse on the other side of the world? When i see dying children in africa it makes every good deed i do in my life (or think i do) look insignificant, and i Wonder what we in our position can or is supposed to do

We must first learn to take care of ourselves. Then, we can start helping those we engage with daily. Little by little, we can start helping more and more.

It does no good to send money around the world if we cannot be good to our family, community, spouse, etc.
