“My intentions were in the long run to perform the greatest task in the cosmos, which was to take Beelzebub out of the Black Lodge and transform him into a disciple of the White Lodge.”
Wouldn't it have been a greater task to convert Jahve?
I don't mean this in a humorous way, for the record. I legitimately just wonder if Jahve would ever convert and what the effects of that would be since he is the head of the black lodge. Would all of the problems be solved? Or would there just be a new leader of the black lodge?
Also if Beelzebub can be converted and our egos are demons, why do we "kill" them rather than convert them?
