I've always claimed to be spiritual. although, I only recently started watching the alchemy courses on YouTube. in the first lesson the instructor spoke on ordeals and it had stuck with me. since then I've noticed these ordeals whenever im faced with them. Today was an exceptionally tough day for me. I'm aware of my ego. and have a rather positive attitude. but i can feel the weight of my ego and I don't want to just neglect it as no big deal and move forward with ignorance

Ordeals provide psychological pressures upon the mind, so as to push the ego to the forefront. If we are not observant, we will not catch our defects in action, nor take advantage of the psychological gymnasium provided to us by Lucifer.
Therefore, meditate and retrospect at the end of each day to comprehend more and more the egos you witness. Pray for elimination. This is how we conquer ordeals and no longer repeat mistakes.
